SPGX
RISE™ Methodology

One methodology, from event to resilience.

RISE™ carries a programme from the first hours after an event to the safe return of assets to use — and beyond, into resilience.

What RISE is

A structured methodology, not a slogan.

RISE™ spans four sequential but overlapping phases — Respond, Inspect, Stabilise and Execute Recovery — that take a programme from the moment of an event to the safe return of assets to use.

Running through all four phases is a continuous thread of governance, stakeholder management, transparency and transition to resilience. That thread is what separates a recovery that is accountable from one that is merely active.

RISE™ is the IP foundation of SPG Disaster Recovery & Resilience and the structure every SPGX deliverable maps back to.

The four phases

Respond. Inspect. Stabilise. Execute Recovery.

A numbered framework — each phase has defined entry conditions, decision gates and deliverables.

  1. R
    Phase 01

    Respond

Establish command, safety and situational control in the first hours after an event.

  2. I
    Phase 02

    Inspect

Coordinate damage assessment and establish the evidence base on which every later decision will rest.

  3. S
    Phase 03

    Stabilise

Secure assets, stabilise the situation and prepare the programme for controlled delivery.

  4. E
    Phase 04

    Execute Recovery

Deliver repair, reconstruction and capability uplift under controlled programme governance.

The governance thread

The continuous spine across all four phases.

Governance, stakeholder management, transparency and resilience are not a phase. They run continuously, from Respond through Execute Recovery.

Governance

Decision rights, controls and accountability defined before activity begins — and enforced through every phase.

Stakeholder Management

A coordinated voice across owners, agencies, insurers, lenders, contractors and communities.

Transparency

Evidence-grade reporting and decision logs — the programme is always defensible, never opaque.

Resilience

Every phase deposits capability the owner keeps long after demobilisation.

Everything maps to RISE

One methodology. One operating vehicle.

Every SPG service and deliverable maps back to the RISE methodology — and is operated through the Recovery Programme Office (RPO™), the single accountable delivery vehicle for the programme.
